1 Information We Collect
MyApp collects only what it needs to provide the service. We do not sell your data and do not use advertising networks.

We do not collect your location, contacts, camera/photos, payment information, or any government-issued identifiers.
2 How We Use Your Information
Your information is used exclusively to:
- Create and authenticate your account
- Sync your habits, completions, challenges, and settings across sessions
- Send push notifications for habit reminders you have enabled
- Send occasional in-app or push notifications about new features or important service updates
- Maintain streaks, challenge progress, and historical snapshots
We do not use your data to train machine learning models, build advertising profiles, or infer sensitive characteristics about you.
3 Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in Supabase, a cloud database platform with row-level security (RLS) enforced at the database level. This means your records are only accessible to your authenticated account — no other user can read or write your data.
- Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
- Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.
- We do not store passwords in plaintext; authentication is handled via Supabase's secure auth system.
5 Push Notifications
MyApp uses push notifications for two purposes:
- Habit reminders: Scheduled at times you configure per habit. You can disable these individually in the app's Settings screen or by turning off notifications for MyApp in your device's iOS Settings.
- App updates & announcements: Occasional messages about significant new features or service changes. You can opt out of these at any time in the app's Settings screen.
We use Expo's push notification service to deliver notifications to your device. Your push token is stored in our database solely for this delivery purpose.
6 Children's Privacy
MyApp is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete the account promptly.
7 Your Rights & Choices
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information (habit names and settings can be edited directly in the app)
- Delete your account and all associated data (see Section 8)
- Opt out of push notifications at any time via iOS Settings or in-app Settings
- Export a copy of your data by contacting us at [email protected]
8 Deleting Your Account & Data
Upon deletion, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your account credentials and email address
- All habits, completions, streaks, and challenge history
- App settings and preferences
- Push notification tokens
- Daily snapshots and progress data
Deletion is irreversible. We do not retain backups of deleted accounts beyond our standard 30-day database backup window, after which all traces are gone.
9 California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
- Right to Know: You may request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information (see Section 8).
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information, so this right does not apply — but you may still contact us to confirm.

10 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you via push notification or email. Your continued use of MyApp after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
